How to Get to Marikina City?

Land Transportation
From NLEX: Ride a bus going to either Baclaran, Ayala, or Alabang then look for buses with a signage “Cubao-Ibabaw.” Get off the bus when the driver stops at Aurora Cubao. Aside from riding a bus, you can also go to the nearest MRT train station. Just get a ticket for Cubao/Araneta Station and ask where Aurora Blvrd. is. When you have arrived at Aurora Cubao, you can look for FX or jeeps going to either Calumpang, Parang Fortune or SSS Village where this can take you to the Riverbank Mall, Riverpark, Marikina City proper and other Marikina landmarks. You can also ride either a Montalban jeep or San Mateo bus, however, they will not pass by Riverbank Mall and Riverpark since they will both take the Marcos-Highway-A Tuazon route which can lead you to SM Marikina, Sta. Lucia East Mall and Marquiton Mall.

Air transportation
Since Marikina is located in Metro Manila, you can go to the place by riding an airplane and land at the nearest airport. Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is an international airport located in the southern part of Metro Manila, Philippines and it has four passenger terminals. Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 are available from the passengers who came from international, domestic, local and regional flights. Terminal 1 serves almost all the international flights; Terminal 2 is exclusively used by Philippine Airlines which serves international and domestic flights; Terminal 3 caters to some domestic flights along with international flights that were not handled in NAIA Terminal 1; and Terminal 4 serves local and regional flights.
Water transportation
There are different kinds of ferries in the Philippines such as the Bangka, ROROs, Fastcrafts and Passenger Liners. Bangka are usually for the short-distance routes; ROROs are usually for short to medium distance routes; and both Fastcrafts and Passenger Lines are for long-distance routes. If you are from the Visayas and Mindanao Islands, you can travel via sea to Luzon Islands by booking a ferry ride going to Manila to see the wonderful places in Marikina City. The travel time when riding a ferry depends on your route and it can be usually from an hour to 45 hours long.
